Hanson Community Preservation Committee
Minutes~ June 3, 2009~
Meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m.
Members present:~ David Harris, Laura FitzGerald- Kemmett (arrived 7:10), John Kemmett, William Clay (arrived at 7:10), Robert Sears,Bill Strait, Allan Clemons, Patty Norton~
Not Present:
Phlip Lindquist
Minutes of April 14, 2009 were approved: 6-0-0~
Minutes of May 20, 2009 were approved: 6-0-0~
Old Business
Discussion as to whether we need a plan under the CPA regulations --~will be discussed further on June 17. John will forward information to the committee on this matter
Bob mentioned that an application package should be given to Sandra Harris,Town Clerk, since she had expressed an interest in applying last August in submitting a project~
Bob will call Phil regarding having the application package available on the website.
Bob clarified the CPC budget figures.
New Business
Bruce Young submitted a preapplication for the purchase of the Nathaniel Thomas Mill Site. He gave a short presentation of the prposed project.
Motion to accept the preapplication by David Harris, second by John kemmett. vote 6-0-0
Reorganization will be held after the selectmen have made their appointments of committee~personnel.
A questionnaire will be created for project applicants so that the committee can evaluate the application process.
Cpc voted 4-4-0 on a motion to set aside 10% of the 2009 funds for the designated accounts --~open space, historical, housing, Motion failed
